IPPR North is delighted to host a keynote speech on full employment, from the Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.
Thursday 16 May, 17:30 – 19:00
IPPR North offices, central Newcastle
The Northern Economic Futures Commission, in its final report published in November last year, identified full employment as a foundation of prosperity in the North of England.
In the first in a series of speeches, Liam Byrne will set out his view about the road back to full employment, and argue that a national strategy for full employment is the only way to deliver social justice and ensure fairness in our social security system for the future.
This event will take place on Thursday 16 May at the IPPR North offices in central Newcastle. Attendance is free but it is essential to book as places are limited.
To book please email email@example.com or call Ellie Geddes on 0191 233 9051.
