This session took a broad view of the conflict in the DRC, placing the current crisis in its historical context, but also giving an up-to-date picture of the humanitarian and political situation on the ground. It looked ahead to discuss how the UK, the EU and the wider international community could best support UN and other ongoing peacekeeping efforts in the country.
Speakers
