Lewis Iwu

Policy Advisory Council

 

Lewis studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford, where he was elected as President of the Oxford University Student Union in 2008. He worked with the university on a variety of issues including widening participation and higher education funding.

Lewis is a trustee of Debate Mate, a charity that aims to promote social mobility by spreading competitive debating in inner city schools all over the country. Lewis won the 2008 World University Debating Championships in 2008 and has coached debating and public speaking in eight countries.

He has completed his graduate diploma in law at BPPP Law School and is continuing his legal training with the corporate law firm Slaughter and May.
