Sarah is a regular commentator on migration and integration issues in print and broadcast media. Sarah’s recent coverage includes the Guardian, Financial Times, Observer, Newsnight, Today Programme and Channel 4 News.

Before joining IPPR, Sarah was Coordinator of the UK Aid Network, a coalition of NGOs working on international aid, where she led UK and EU advocacy on aid issues. She was previously a Research Associate at the Global Economic Governance Programme in Oxford, worked as a consultant for a wide range of research and policy organisations, and was a Senior Policy Analyst at HM Treasury, where she held a range of domestic and international policy positions. Sarah has an MPhil in International Relations and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, both from the University of Oxford.

Outside work, Sarah sits on the boards of Publish What You Fund and Pathways. She is also a member of the policy advisory council at the Overseas Development Institute.
