Tony is an experienced media performer, with recent appearances on Newsnight, BBC News at Ten, BBC Radio 4 Today programme and various other radio channels. He has written articles for the Guardian’s Comment is Free and is frequently quoted in the national press on economic developments in the UK and on fiscal and monetary policy.
Prior to joining IPPR in 2009, Tony Dolphin worked as an economist and investment strategist at Henderson Global Investors, and before that in a similar role at WorldInvest Limited. He has also worked as an Economic Adviser in HM Treasury and in the former Department for Education and Science. Tony has a BA in Economics from the University of Liverpool.
