Dr Nitin Parekh graduated from Oxford University in 1986 and completed an MSc in Economics from London University in 1989.

He has over fifteen years of investment experience. He was Global CIO of Credit Suisse from 2002 to 2004 where he was responsible for all discretionary assets of the bank. He managed a team of some 60 investment professionals across all asset classes. Prior to that he was CIO of HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong from 2001 to 2002 and worked for CSFB in Hong Kong from 1996-2001, building the Asian franchise. He started his career at Royal Bank of Scotland.
