IPPR offers internship opportunities throughout the year. They are always advertised on this page.

Interns are valued by IPPR and are given a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. Interns may be employed to work on research projects or work in the external affairs team. Internships are offered in London and Newcastle.

We seek to ensure our internships are open to a wide range of candidates and as part of our commitment to encourage diversity and opportunity all interns are paid the London Living Wage or its equivalent.

Research Internship £16,718 per annum pro rata– full time (37.5 hours) Fixed term contract - 3-6 months

IPPR is looking for an intern to work across a range of its projects within it’s  Economic, Family, and Work teams.

Tasks will include providing general research and administrative support to projects, arranging and undertaking interviews and assisting with the running and analysis of IPPR’s qualitative & quantitative work.

The intern will be based in the IPPR office in London for a period of 3 – 6 months, starting early June 2013.

Amelia Zollner IPPR/University College London Internship Award

The Amelia Zollner IPPR/UCL Internship Award was founded in 2007 in memory of 24-year-old UCL student Amelia Zollner, who tragically died in a cycling accident while working as an intern at IPPR.

The annual three-month London-based Amelia Zollner internship is reserved for current UCL students or recent UCL graduates as a stepping stone to working in policy or politics.
