Rob is a senior manager at professional services firm Ernst & Young. His policy interests and areas of expertise include business policy, public service reform and social care.
Before joining Ernst & Young in 2011, Rob was political adviser to the then director-general of the CBI, Sir Richard Lambert. Rob also advised the CBI on public service reform, working with its public services board on areas including criminal justice, police and welfare reform. He wrote the CBI's 2010 police reform report, A frontline force.
Rob has also worked in parliament for a Home Office minister and at a law firm in New York.
Rob is vice-chair of trustees of Carers Network, a London-based charity providing support, information, breaks and grants for unpaid carers.
