Biography

Olivia leads on IPPR's external affairs and events activities. 

Olivia plans IPPR’s major events and leads on our related fundraising and marketing work. She is reponsible for ensuring IPPR hosts an exciting programme of events which promote and communicate the work of IPPR to politicians, policy makers and the public. Her role also involves ensuring IPPR's events are inclusive and reach wide and varied audiences. She has also led on migrating our programme online during the coronavirus pandemic. 

Along with overseeing key report launches and political events, Olivia leads on IPPR's flagship events; including those for the Environmental Justice Commission and Centre for Economic Justice, the annual IPPR Oxford Media Convention, and our fringe programme across the political party conference season. 

Olivia also coordinates our relationships with key stakeholders and leads on IPPR’s partnership programme. 

Prior to joining IPPR in 2016, Olivia worked in the conference sector delivering stakeholder events on a wide array of public policy issues. Prior to that she worked at a think tank focused on localism and local government. She has a degree in philosophy and theology and a master's degree in global ethics and human values.
