A New Vision for the British Economy
Launch of the Interim Report of the IPPR Commission on Economic Justice.
The IPPR Commission on Economic Justice brings together leading figures from across society - from business and trade unions, civil society and academia - to examine the challenges facing the UK economy and make practical recommendations for reform. Its Interim Report will set out its analysis of the condition of the British economy, the challenges we face in the future, and a pathway towards economic reform.
Speakers will include Commissioners Juergen Maier, CEO of Siemens UK; Sally Tallant, Director of the Liverpool Biennial Festival of Contemporary Art; and Grace Gould, Entrepreneur in Residence at LocalGlobe, and MIchael Jacobs, Director of the Commission, with responses from Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Rebecca Long-Bailey MP, and Bim Afomali MP. The event will be chaired by Tom Kibasi, Director of IPPR and Chair of the Commission.
The launch will take place on Thursday 7th September, 8:30-11:00am at Church House, Deans Yard, Westminster, London SW1P 3NZ.
