Economic Justice Assembly: Good Work, Good Pay, Good Lives
IPPR and London Plus are delighted to be hosting an Economic Justice Assembly on Good Work, Good Pay, Good Lives.
This unique event taking place in Peckham, South London, offers the local community an exciting opportunity to debate a number of high profile ideas to create a more just economy and world of work in the capital, such as a Citizens’ Wealth Fund, a Jobs Guarantee, and a shorter working week.
The event will follow the broad structure of a Citizens’ Assembly, with participants learning about several big policy ideas, deliberating those with other members from the community, and then deciding which policy solutions they would like to see put into action. This could also include any new ideas to emerge from the group work.
The event will start promptly at 6:15pm with a number of presentations from IPPR and London Plus. Group activity will then commence from 6:45pm, with the event concluding at 8pm.
All participants will receive a free hot meal before the event at 5:30pm.
Everyone from the community is welcome to attend, though you must register in advance as numbers are limited. Please register using the link below.
