IPPR Offices, 4th floor, 14 Buckingham Street, London WC2N 6DF
The 2008 Climate Change Act was built on wide political and social consensus on the need to tackle climate change. The revolution in Britain's energy policy required to reduce emissions in a cost-effective manner while maintaining energy security is now underway. With bills rising, energy policy has returned to the centre of political debate.
Ed will discuss how we can maintain the long term policy and regulatory stability required to attract investment into the energy system, while ensuring the market works for consumers.
