Speech by Tom Watson MP
The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) is delighted to host a speech by Tom Watson MP, Deputy Leader of the Labour Party and Shadow Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.
This will take place on 28th February, 10.45-12.30pm at IPPR, 14 Buckingham Street, London WC2N 6DF.
The event will focus on the question of online gambling; its regulation; types of online gambling products; the exposure of these products to young people and the potential harm that comes from their use.
Tom Watson MP will deliver a keynote address and set out a series of major policy recommendations on how better regulation of these products - and online gambling in general - can be achieved. His speech will then be followed by responses from Lord Chadlington and Professor Siân Griffiths OBE, Deputy Chair of GambleAware, Chair of the Global Health Committee, and Associate Non-Executive Member of the Board of Public Health England.
