The UK Economy After Brexit: Working for All?
The IPPR Commission on Economic Justice is hosting a major conference on the economy on November 14th in central London. ‘The UK Economy After Brexit: Working for All’ will explore the future prospects for the economy and the priorities for Government. There will be sessions on industrial strategy and long-term finance, and ‘good jobs’ and the labour market.
Speakers will include Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell MP; Carolyn Fairbairn, Director-General of the CBI; Martin Wolf, Chief Economic Commentator of the Financial Times; Sir Charlie Mayfield, Chairman of John Lewis; Frances O’Grady, General Secretary of the TUC; Professor Mariana Mazzucato; Tim Roache, General Secretary of the GMB; and Will Hutton, economic columnist of the Observer.
