The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) is the UK’s leading progressive think tank. Our research and ideas have shaped policy making for more than three decades. We are looking for a new Executive Director to succeed Tom Kibasi and lead the organisation through its next phase of development. This will be a challenging role, demanding exceptional political, intellectual and managerial skills.
You will have significant leadership experience coupled with a strong track record of innovative and impactful thinking and analysis. You will have sound experience in public policy development and a proven ability to manage a complex organisation, capable of inspiring and motivating staff to reach the highest standards. You will be expected to represent the organisation at the most senior levels of government, politics, business, the voluntary sector, and the media. In addition, you will be an excellent fundraiser, able to play a crucial role in managing strategic funding relationships, while ensuring that IPPR’s research remains at the cutting-edge of public policy.
