Project Coordinator

£27,726 per annum plus benefits 12 month fixed term contract - full time (37.5 hours)

The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR), the UK’s leading progressive think tank, is looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to provide high level administrative support to the organisation. The role will primarily provide support to IPPR’s Commission on Economic Justice but will also assist with other research and operational projects as required.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in economic policy and excellent organisational skills, to play a key role in the effective administration of IPPR’s Commission on Economic Justice. The post holder will be responsible for providing vital administrative services to the Commission. They will work closely with the Director of the Commission, to ensure the effective co-ordination of the Commission’s activities, meetings, events and budget. They will be act as the key administrative point of contact for Commissioners. Duties will include effectively organising and facilitating meetings and events; taking and distributing minutes, maintaining records and managing relevant internal and external communications.

The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, project management and IT skills; the ability to manage a busy workload and respond pro-actively to changes in work priorities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an interest and knowledge in IPPR’s work.
