Research Fellow (Migration, Integration and Communities)
£31,093 per annum pro rata plus benefits 6 month fixed term contract - full time (37.5 hours)
IPPR is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Research Fellow to join the Migration and Communities team.
This role will involve working strategically to obtain widespread commitment to promote IPPR’s research and policy work. You’ll be responsible for developing effective relationships with politicians and key political influencers across the UK, leading on the delivery of impactful research and ensuring that insights and proposals are communicated effectively.
With demonstrable experience of delivering impactful research and successfully influencing public policy agendas, you will be able to build and maintain productive relationships with senior politicians and influencers. You will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and writing skills. The ability to clearly communicate complex issues to political, public and professional audiences is essential, as well as creating and maintaining external strategic alliances.
A knowledge of UK immigration policy and / or local policymaking is desirable. You will also be required to travel extensively.
