Jack joined IPPR Scotland in January 2019 and specialises in social policy, new technologies and qualitative research methods.
Before joining the IPPR Jack researched the ethical issues around new technologies being used in health and social care at the University of Strathclyde. Jack previously worked for a technology start-up collecting data on the social media streams of political figures.
Jack has an MA in Social Sciences with Honours in Politics from the University of Glasgow. His dissertation focused on the language of American Exceptionalism in the context of Barack Obama’s foreign policy.
