
Economies all over the developed world are changing dramatically. If Britain is going to compete, especially outside of Europe, we will need to respond to this challenge and raise levels of productivity. To do so, we need to re-evaluate our approach to our workforce and skills.
New Skills at Work has been a three-year project funded by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation examining what the workforce of the future will need to succeed. What skills will we need in the future, and how do governments and other actors ensure that the infrastructure exists to deliver them?
Over three years, we have published data on labour markets, researched innovative new approaches to employment and skills policies at local, regional and national levels and shared best practice from decision makers in government, business and community around the UK and across Europe.
