Policy Coherence and the Future of the UK's International Development Agenda
Article
The aim of this report is to inform the debate about the future of the UK's development policy. We assess how far UK policies are coherent from a development perspective, and what the balance is between international development and other objectives, across a range of areas.
We identify some of the barriers to more joined-up government. On the basis of this analysis we make a series of recommendations for both the Department for International Development and the workings of government more widely.
