Jack is a senior account manager for the London Progression Collaboration – an initiative designed to tackle skills shortages and support Londoners progress into better-quality, higher-paying jobs by supporting employers to increase investment in apprenticeships.
Prior to joining IPPR in November 2021, Jack worked as an adviser at Westminster City Council, a senior policy researcher in Parliament, and at the Local Government Association. He has worked across the political spectrum on a range of issues affecting local government – from devolution to skills to homelessness. In his spare time he is researching out-of-area temporary accommodation, which affects 25,000 London households, and has secured coverage across the national media, including in ITV’s award-winning housing series.
Jack has a master's in early modern history from King’s College London.
