About Event: Devolution that delivers: fiscal power for regional growth
This autumn, IPPR North and IPPR, together with Arup, launched a landmark report on fiscal devolution, calling for bold new powers to unlock the economic promise of devolution by giving mayors further tax, spend and borrowing powers, and setting out what is needed to make this ambitious, fair and sustainable.
At this event, ahead of the Autumn Budget, to explore the report and discuss how greater fiscal powers can help mayors unlock the full economic potential of devolution.
We are delighted to be joined by Bev Craig OBE, Mayor of Greater Manchester, who will offer a keynote address.
Our other speakers include;
- Jennifer Williams, Northern Correspondent, Financial Times
- Vicky Evans, Director | UKIMEA Cities, Planning and Design Leader, Arup
- Zoë Billingham, Director, IPPR North
