Providing governance support to the trustee board and sub-committees, including meeting coordination, preparing papers and minute-taking.
Coordinating trustee recruitment and maintaining strong relationships with board members.
Supporting recruitment and intern programmes in line with our equality and diversity strategy.
Assisting with HR processes, staff surveys, and providing general operational support.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong administrative experience across multiple functions.
- Is confident managing meetings, taking minutes, and liaising with senior stakeholders.
- Is digitally savvy and confident using Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
- Is highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with calm efficiency.
- Has excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Has a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Is committed to the values of IPPR.
Experience in the charity, finance or non-profit sector and familiarity with governance and fundraising systems would be an advantage.
