Ajay is a senior account manager at WorkWhile – an initiative working with employers to create more good work and ensure everyone can access it. Workwhile was originally launched and incubated by IPPR, until April 2025 when it became an independent charity.

Ajay manages the engagement and support strategy for SMEs that seek support in creating apprenticeship opportunities for Londoners. Since joining the project in 2019, he has contributed towards creating over 1,500 apprenticeships for low-paid, disadvantaged and marginalised Londoners.

In addition to his work at Workwhile, Ajay is also a school governor at his local infant school. He is committed to giving back to his community and helping to ensure that all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
