Jenna Norman

Associate fellow

Jenna was an associate fellow at IPPR.

Jenna is an equalities policy specialist with experience working in policy, public affairs and research across the third sector. At IPPR, she co-led a project on broadening and deepening the government's opportunity mission, with a focus on progressive visions for social mobility that take seriously issues of place and structural disadvantage.

Jenna was previously interim head of policy, research and advocacy at the Fawcett Society. She has worked as a policy advisor to MPs on women and equalities policy, focusing on employment rights, racial justice and women’s economic equality. This work was informed by her early career focus on feminist economics at the Women’s Budget Group and youth services at Girlguiding. She is also an ad hoc expert at the knowledge-exchange platform Urbact, where she delivers training on gender equality, and has served as a trustee at the Women’s Environmental Network.

Jenna holds an MSc in gender studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
