Maeve is the communications lead at IPPR North.

Her work involves communicating IPPR North’s mission to the general public, local and regional decision makers and opinion formers, while helping shape the public debate in social and digital spaces. She contributes with interviews on Times Radio and BBC News.

She began her career in podcast and digital content production, before working as a freelance journalist across the BBC in radio and podcast production. She writes in her spare time, with work previously published in the Metro and The Yorkshire Post. Growing up in the North, she passionately believes that you shouldn't have to move away from a region for better job prospects.
