Maeve joined IPPR North in 2025 as the media and communications officer.

Her work involves communicating IPPR North’s mission to the general public, local and regional decision makers and opinion formers, while helping shape the public debate in social and digital spaces.

She began her career in podcast and digital content production, before working as a freelance journalist across the BBC in radio and podcast production. She writes in her spare time, with work previously published in the Metro and The Yorkshire Post.

Maeve brings to this role her knowledge of traditional broadcast media as well as social media and digital content creation.
