Each of the six papers in this collection sets out the role of a particular type or types of practitioner:
- an intermediate care practitioner to provide rehabilitation support
- a telecarer (a health professional able to support patients using the most appropriate communications media)
- a knowledge broker
- a lay person as healthcare practitioner
- a consultant pharmacist and a pharmacy technician
- a public health leader.
