Sebastian Rees
Principal research fellow and head of healthSebastian Rees is a Principal Research Fellow and leads the IPPR’s work on health.
Before joining IPPR, Sebastian worked at Healthwatch England, the statutory patient voice body, where he led research on community pharmacy, the NHS complaints process and new roles in healthcare. Prior to this, he led the health policy research programme at Reform, the think tank and worked as a journalist. He has regularly commented on health policy in the national media and his work has been in The Guardian, the Financial Times and the Economist.
He completed a BA and an MSt. in History at the University of Oxford.
